Materials Handling Pty Ltd designed and supplied a portable vacuum handling system for an industrial coating manufacturer in Brisbane Australia. The solution will assist staff when handling large bags/sacks of powdered materials used in the production process.
This video is filming a workshop test for our customer. The system is a Vaculex VL bag lifter for handling bags and large sacks when mixing industrial coatings. Vacuum tube lifters are typically suited to products that weigh between 30 – 250 kg. The Vaculex is using a #20 blower mounted inside a silencing box. The MechRail aluminium jib crane is mobile since it is mounted on a portable base plate. The base plate is easily accessed by a forklift or pallet truck. Since the base plate is low-profile it does not present a tripping hazard to the operators!
