A pneumatic power source makes these lifts safe for use in heavy paint booth

applications and hazardous locations. There are many platform heights available ranging from 2.4 to 6metres (in increments of 300mm) thus providing working heights up to 8metres. Operator platforms are 530mm deep x 1220mm wide with a capacity of 220kg and are available in standard and extended reach. Y and Z-Axis controls are located in the front of the platform allowing the operator to concentrate on the task at hand. Units are designed for high production and low maintenance with self-lube bushings and a minimum amount of grease points. X Axis - Rate of travel is variable up to over 12m/min and is controlled with a variable flow foot valve for hands-free operation.

X-Axis - The entire lift travels on two aluminium wheels that ride on a floor mounted rail and is also guided by cam followers on a wall mounted I-Beam upper rail that also serves as a support for a roller trolley festoon system. Control is by a variable flow foot valve for hands-free operation.

Y-Axis - The operator platform is driven by a sealed linear actuator that extends horizontally to 2920mm and retracts to 915mm (4270mm and 1115mm on the extended version) at a rate of 4.5m/min.

Z-Axis - Rate of vertical travel is approximately 4.5m/min using a rotary ball screw.

It is equipped with two independent safety systems to prevent uncontrolled descent in the unlikely event of an interruption in air supply.

The client must nominate the preferred X, Y and Z-axis dimensions when ordering.
